Behind the Lens

I'm a hopeless romantic who finds great joy in creating and capturing connection and beauty wherever I go.

about me

I'm madison

I am a wife, a mom, an Aggie (whoop!), a Type A minus, if you know what I mean, organized yet a little rough on the edges.
I like to describe my style as soft, cozy, nostalgic, graceful, and true to life. I want to feel something when I look at an image, and I want my clients to view my art the same way.

You may notice the butterfly (maybe even the lady bug) in my patterns and logo. When I was little, my great grandma Mildred told us to look for her in lady bugs. After she passed, our house became nearly infested with lady bugs. It was pretty funny, but we also enjoyed knowing my MaMaw was there. Some years later, I lost my mom when I was 19 to a car accident. Coming home from the hospital, I was a shell of a human. When I pulled up to my mom's house, yellow butterflies had filled the yard. I'm talking tens of them. I thought to myself, "find her in the yellow butterflies." I soon learned my grandma had also seen a yellow butterfly on the way home, making the sentiment that much special. My mom inspires a lot of my work, as the last great picture of her was one that I took. I will cherish it forever as I hope my clients do with their own pictures of their loved ones.

Hopeless romantic (and total Enneagram 9), lover of light,  travel, and the soft, glowing colors brought to life on film.

my favorite things:

humanS

My guys. <3 These two are my entire world. My husband is my childhood, down the street neighbor. We dated throughout the end of high school, through college at Texas A&M and decided on forever in July of 2020. Then had our precious baby Brooks in February 2022

06

part of my job

That moment after the ceremony when my clients realize their forever starts right then.

about you

My clients are seekers of beauty, lovers of travel, with a taste for adventure and sea salt in their hair.

I often find my clients and I have multiple things in common but the biggest ones of all... empathy, grace, and wholeheartedness. My clients strive to enjoy their wedding day without a care that their photos are "perfect." They don't worry about the wrinkles formed from smiling make them look old. They care about the moment and the memory.
